Use Ctrl-[H] to open a [H]elp panel
Any part of an image (or, in fact, a video) can be cropped to only show what you require.
You can, if you wish, then save your alteration to a new, high-resolution image file.
In the case of a video, you can watch just that portion of the video image in playback, if you wish.
