To some extent, but with some caveats, all of the video caption controls are also available to you when playing an audio file.
In particular, you can use the following controls:
control | action |
---|---|
Ctrl [B] | [B]righter captions, progress bar and video timestamp |
Shift [B] | un[B]righter captions, progress bar and video timestamp |
Ctrl Shift [B] | reset the progress [B]ar and the captions to their default color/brightness |
[C] | toggle 1) permanent captions at the bottom of the window |
Ctrl [C] | toggle 1) showing the media file meta data |
Ctrl [B]
and Ctrl Shift [B]
can be held down for rapid change.
control | action |
---|---|
[B] | toggle 1) the [B]lackout of the audio/video progress [B]ar |
Whether the metadata Ctrl [C]
can be viewed properly will depend on whether an audio file contains “album art”.
If it does, the MMP
audio window will be sized to make the album art viewable.
In this case, the metadata has enough window space to be seen.
Without album art, MMP
sizes the audio window to the default, minimalist horizontal “strip”.
In this case, the metadata does not have sufficient space to be viewed properly, with the exception of the File Size (“FS:”).
All of the other controls regarding caption brightness, caption suppression, progress bar brightness and progress bar suppression work exactly the same as for Video Captions.
